In Nashville, there is a fellow by the name of Bubba that is really doing some neat things with email. Bubba Boswell is the owner of Boswell's Harley-Davidson He was one of our first clinets when we started SubscriberMail. We work with a large number of creative clients, but Bubba is always looking for a new angle or something that will keep him in touch with his customers.
Bubba sends out a newsletter every week filled with tips, ideas and specials. He also gets his customers to connect with him using a simple technique that he copied from radio. This week he had tickets to the Titan's game that he wanted to give away. He sent out a newsletter, and offered to give a pair of tickets to the 27th caller to the dealership that correctly answers a trivia question about Harley products. According to Bubba, the phone starts ringing 30 seconds after he hits the send button and he usually has a winner within 15 minutes. The best part is, the phone doesn't stop ringing, and every customer that calls in is an opportunity to strengthen their relationship with the dealership.
