I my earlier post titled A Stroke of Genius, I posted some details about Jill Bolte Taylor's fabulous TED talk this year. This is the scientist who experienced a stroke, realized what was happening to her, and made amazing note of the experience. Her talk was rated as one of the most amazing presentations at any TED. TED has posted this amazing talk on-line, and is something that you must see. It is eye opening and an incredible story.

My daughter suggested this one. It is required reading in one of her Senior level business classes. It should be required reading for every new employee! Great book! Simple concept. (*****)

Murray Gell-Mann: The Quark and the Jaguar: Adventures in the Simple and the Complex
Not much of a science geek, but he spoke at TED, and I found him very interesting, so I am going to try to work my way through this. It seems very interesting.
David Rockwell: Spectacle
Fascinating book on "big" events and occurances. From the Olympics to the Running of the Bulls. If it is large and involves people, this book covers it. (****)
